IMCA suspends Russian members

On 4 March, IMCA suspended its Russian members from the Association. Allen Leatt, CEO, stated that We are all deeply saddened at IMCA by the events unfolding in the Ukraine and the growing humanitarian disaster we see every day on mainstream News channels. IMCA Appoints Director of Client Engagement Asia-Pacific

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has appointed Jason Veerasingam as Director of Client Engagement – Asia-Pacific. Jason Veerasingam is experienced in working with engineering consultants, leading EPC contractors and offshore service providers. In the last 25 years, his focus in the South East Asia market has enabled him to build successful business development strategies for national and international companies in the region. His last role was as the Area Manager at Boskalis Offshore. Your Innovative Technology Could Feature in IMCA’s DP Conference

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) will feature innovative technology and solutions in the Quickfire, Totally Technology Session at their Dynamic Positioning Conference (Amsterdam, 31 May-1 June 2022). The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is set to stage its two-day Dynamic Positioning (DP) Conference in Amsterdam at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel on 31 May-1 June 2022. Moving from principle to practice

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has launched a new online self-assessment tool to enable Members to track their progress against Environmental Sustainability expectations in their Recommended Code of Practice launched last year. The tool, which has been developed for IMCA Members’ internal use, presents their self-assessment score and, once sufficient submissions have been made by other IMCA Members, a comparison with other users’ outcomes is given. The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) welcomes Stephen Peet as Technical Director. Stephen Peet brings a wealth of experience to IMCA having held senior positions with Wood Group and KBR following earlier career roles at GE and British Gas. More recently Stephen was the Europe and Africa regional director for integrity management and digital solutions at Oceaneering. IMCA finalises Guidelines for Walk to Work (W2W) Operations

The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has expanded its ‘Guidelines for Walk to Work (W2W) Operations’ (IMCA M254). Originally published in October 2020, the guidelines were produced to help standardise the way in which vessels give personnel safe access to offshore structures, both in the wind and oil & gas industries, and were developed under the direction of IMCA’s Marine Division Management Committee.
