The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has appointed Jason Veerasingam as Director of Client Engagement – Asia-Pacific.
Jason Veerasingam is experienced in working with engineering consultants, leading EPC contractors and offshore service providers. In the last 25 years, his focus in the South East Asia market has enabled him to build successful business development strategies for national and international companies in the region.
His last role was as the Area Manager at Boskalis Offshore. He was responsible for the business development of their suite of offshore services including the decommissioning of offshore assets in the region.
As Allen Leatt, IMCA’s CEO explained:
“We are delighted to welcome Jason as a member of our international client engagement team. He has over 30 years of multi-discipline work experience in the oil and gas and civil/marine infrastructure sectors obtained both internationally (UK and India) as well as in South East Asia.
“This brings our team of senior Client Engagement Directors to four – David Bloom has that role for Europe and Africa; Bruce Gresham covers North America and Chris Rodricks looks after the Middle East and India. With IMCA members in over 65 countries they play a key role.
“Jason’s experience and extensive network of relationships with key stakeholders and business professionals in the region will stand him in good stead.”
