Published on 22 June 2022
The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) welcomes Rhys Jones as Technical Adviser, Marine Renewable Energy.
Rhys brings a wealth of offshore wind energy experience to IMCA, having worked for RenewableUK for 11 years as Head of Technical Affairs. This involved a strong focus on health, safety, and regulatory compliance in the offshore wind sector. Rhys has managed numerous industry committees in developing various best-practice guidance documents in the offshore wind industry in much the same way as IMCA’s operating model.
Mark Ford, IMCA’ s Marine & Quality Manager stated:
“Following the retirement this year of Captain Andy Goldsmith, we welcome Rhys to the team and look forward to him leading IMCA’s Marine Renewable Energy Committee and addressing the many opportunities ahead in this rapidly developing industry.
