Offshore Renewables See IMCA Expand Board

In accordance with its constitution of a biennial chair rotation, the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) announces that Jonathan Tame is its new President. Jonathan is SVP Projects and Offshore Operations at Subsea 7 and takes over from Pieter Heerema of Allseas. Luca Gentili from Saipem now becomes Vice President.
In addition, IMCA has expanded its board of directors reflecting the increasing influence of marine contractors in the fast-growing international offshore wind energy market. New board members are:
- Kate Harvey – General Manager of G+ Global Offshore Health and Safety Organisation
- Arnoud Kuis – Managing Director of Van Oord Offshore Wind
- Hugo Bouvy – Managing Director of DEME Offshore
They join the current board:
- Jonathan Tame, Subsea 7
- Luca Gentili, Saipem
- Pieter Heerema, Allseas
- Andy Seymour, Fugro
- Steve Sheppard, Helix Energy Solutions
- David Jousset, TechnipFMC
- Michel Hendriks, Heerema Marine Contractors
- Allen Leatt, IMCA
Jonathan Tame commented:
