Competence & Training
Our aim
IMCA works to ensure the marine contracting industry are well positioned to recruit, train and maintain a highly skilled and competent workforce, vital for safe and efficient operations in the offshore environment.
Our activities
The Committee provides competence frameworks to support the industry by providing a basis for assessing levels of competence of its personnel in safety-critical positions. This Committee assists and supports other IMCA committees in this area. To view these documents please visit the publications section of our website, and navigate to digital downloads and competence & training.
From time to time the Committee organises seminars and workshops to connect our members with industry experts.
