In 2018 we launched an awards programme to recognised achievements made by our members in Safety and in Environmental Sustainability. The awards were hosted by Darren Thomas of MMA as Chairman of IMCA's HSSE Core Committee and presented by IMCA Board Member, Andy Seymour (pictured left), Global Director Operational Excellence at Fugro. The 2019 winners of these award were:

Subsea 7 and Eidesvik for the hybrid vessel Seven Viking

Heerema for their Tug Barge Access Gangway (T-BAG)

Arjen Leendertse (pictured left), HSE Manager, Norway collected the Environmental Sustainability Award on behalf of Subsea 7 and Eidesvik.

Vincent Doedee (pictured right), Sustainability Advisor collected the Safety Award on behalf of Heerema.
