Dynamic Positioning (DP) is a highly technical area, but a lack of a common currency of experience and qualifications has been the source of some difficulties in the past. The DP Practitioner's Accreditation scheme is designed to establish an industry-wide recognised standard of competence.

Since its launch in May 2019, we have received more than 1000 inquiries for the entry scheme criteria. Examinations have taken place various locations around the world. We think that the standard is set at the right level and is being welcomed by industry. As with the new diving examinations, this is an online but invigilated scheme and we have established a network of professionally run examination centres around the world.
