The conference world has of course been shut down this year and although we understand our proposed venue in London hopes to be in a position to reopen sometime in September, the restrictive measures that are due to be put in place make it unworkable from our perspective. These measures would severely limit networking opportunities and impose many restrictions on our plans and attendees. In addition, the economic challenges now facing our industry will continue to have a significant impact on our Members’ time and resources when it comes to travel and participating in industry events.

IMCA has been extremely busy during the lockdown period supporting our Members and working with many other organisations in order to help our industry stay safe. We continue to host regional meeting updates and technical seminars via webinar, and our extensive programme of committee meetings has continued as normal via video conferencing. We look forward to a time when we can again come together and enjoy the networking opportunities events such as ours offer - when it is safe and sensible to do so.
