Around 450 member representatives around the world are active in developing and updating guidance, discussing issues affecting the industry and supporting the delivery of the Association’s work programme. By adopting Teams, IMCA now provides these groups with a modern and secure collaboration platform – cloud-based file sharing with real-time group editing, video conferencing and calls, task management and much more.
Teams Apps are available for Windows desktop, plus Android/iOS, as well as a web-based interface. Where the Microsoft platform is already in use within a company, no additional login credentials are needed. Microsoft is investing heavily in Teams, with recent improvements to the video conference experience in particular, and simpler navigation between member company and IMCA content available in an update that is currently rolling out in line with company update schedules.
