Following the completion of an MSc in Subsea Technology at Cranfield University, Jonathan began his career as an Offshore Field Engineer in 1992 with McDermott International. During his career has held roles of increasing seniority in projects, operations, business development, QHSE and management.

Additionally, he holds a BSc in Physics from the University of London, an MBA from the University of Houston and is a Project Management Professional.

Jonathan Kennefick commented: “Having worked in subsea industry throughout my career I am looking forward to being involved with IMCA and its Governing Board. As we find ourselves in another period of uncertainty IMCA Members can pull together to share knowledge and experience for the benefit of our industry”.
